John Hay High School is poised to host the 2 newest enhancements to the Cleveland Schools' long listing of academically tough magnet institutions. As part of its mission to much better serve the students of the Cleveland Public School District, the school will evaluate candidates in 2 intriguing and academically strenuous fields.

The Cleveland School of Architecture and Design.

The Cleveland School of Architecture and Design is open to students in the Cleveland Public School District, consisting of some certified house school students. The school is focused on the industrial and applied arts as part of a highly competitive 4 year, rigorous, public, college preparatory program. In addition to their regular coursework, students will have the opportunity to take sophisticated coursework on school as well as taking part in activities and discovering experiences at close-by institutions such as the Cleveland Museum of Art as well as the Cleveland Institute of Art.
