Example Chandra Institution for girls observed the 71st Independence Day with dignity and reverence. The school students, dressed in school uniform, were present in the school premises at 8 am. In the presence of a gleeful gathering , the National flag was hoisted by the principal of the boys section, Mr Example Chatterjee. Then a solemn speech was given by the principal in which he paid homage to the great martyrs of the country. The president of the managing committee of both the institution discussed in brief the significance of the Independence Day.

The programme was followed by a blood donation camp where 65 local people donated blood along with the student. This programme was held in cooperation with Red cross. In evening a cultural fest was held in the institution where patriotic song was sung not only by the student but even sung by the teachers. The programme ended with the national anthem . The day of programme left an indelible impression on the minds of the students.
