As Gandhi said that there is enough of Earth for men need but not for its greed. The saying goes very well with Natural Resources. These are the assets to the mother earth and boon to the humanity development only if you understand the real worth.
The natural resources are available on earth since its origin and involve no human interventions and hence are priceless but available in limited amount. The land, water, minerals, plants, sunlight, wind and many more resources as such fall in this category. Depending upon its origin, they are divided in two categories biotic (fossil fuels and organic matter) and abiotic (Sun, wind, land, etc). Renewable natural resources can be replenished naturally and include sunlight, wind, land, etc. Whereas non-renewable natural resources like coal, minerals take million of years to be formed. Hence it is always suggested to use the available resources judicially so as to make it facilitated for future generations as well.
The major concern of the present is the reckless use and exploitation of these resources. Day by day the depleting layer of it is the whopping question on the existence of the future earth. The increase in pollution and population both are leading towards miserable consequences. Though, if we learn to make a smart and judicious use of resources, keeping aside the greed, the durability can be enhanced.
In the race of advancement and modernity the nature has always been harmed and it’s high time to realize to what extent these resources are needed to be utilized.
